A break with tradition this week; we will start with some music. Why not? 3 minutes of music will save me from having to think up so much inconsequential waffle.
Well, 6 minutes 40 seconds music to be precise. Why chose “The World is Waiting for the Sunrise”? Well, it so happened that, on his way to this week´s walk, Yves stopped to take this picture of the sunrise.
At Pescadores, there were 7 walkers.
Myriam looks shocked; Maria looks startled. Has someone just cracked one of those terrible jokes?
Then Terry tried to nick Yves´ backpack, but failed.
The walk followed some familiar paths, mostly uphill at first. Terry frequently had to wait for the slower-moving among us to catch up.
Myriam and Maria got involved in a long, long conversation about dubbing Portuguese films into Chinese, …. or vice versa.

Apart from that it was an uneventful stroll.
We all got back to Pescadores shortly before 10 am, when Dina left us and Paul joined us. Dona Fernanda served up the usual sumptuous breakfast, supplemented with large juice plums.

JohnH then tries to nick Yves´ beer, and succeeded. That will teach Monsieur. to drink out of the bottle and left-handed too.

Paul then introduced us to a new parlour game... “Read My T-shirt.”
Bring more of those embossed and be-sloganned T-shirts this week and we can play again!

No wonder the girls were startled: it is quite unusual to hear an elephant trumpet near 'Pescadores'... And at that time of the morning, too!
It was a morning of stolen properties!! Hilarious!!
Pescadores' breakfast always fills me for the whole day! The other meals I had last Wednesday were ice-creams and more ice-creams! 😂
